John P.C. Farrell, CFA

John Farrell, CFA, is a senior Finance Professional with over 25 years experience in all facets of wealth management and investment portfolios.  He recently retired from the position of Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at Rockwater Asset Management Inc., which he held from 2002. In that capacity he handled a successful audit of the firm by the Ontario Securities Commission. Prior to that, John was the president and CEO of his own investment firm, Platinum Wealth Management Inc., which was acquired by Rockwater in 2002, and a portfolio manager at Royal Bank Financial Group and The Bank of Nova Scotia.

Education: B.Comm. - Finance and marketing, Queen’s University (1971)M.B.A.- Finance, Economics, Marketing and Accounting, University of Toronto, (1974) Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) designation.

Memberships: Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, Financial Analysts Federation, Toronto Society of Financial Analysts.
